Welcome to ossblacklist.com! We maintain both a blacklist and a whitelist of open source software projects. The idea is that much of what is out there in the open source world is junk. Either the project is abandoned, extremely buggy, written with a faulty architecture, or has some other problem. There is no way of knowing whether an open source project is worth looking into without spending a lot of time checking it out. This site attempts to save that time by telling you what OSS projects have serious problems.
